Red Jumping Spider [Salticidae] Jumped On My Pants





Not caring enough to look straight at me, this tiny reddish jumping spider decided to leap onto my pants while I was sitting down to take a closeup picture of this guy. We found this on the damp ground along the bushy trail of Venus Drive, Singapore. Luckily we did not step on it or we could have pictured a mash of squashed spider body.

One thing I do notice about jumping spiders, unlike other spider species, is that some would be curious enough to stay put and look at you or even leap over to your hand (and even in front of the camera lens) with instinctive courage. And yes, some jumping spiders are jerky and can instantly leap out of sight if danger is spotted.

A seated photo crossed leg showin my new Perry Ellis black dress socks that have a stripe down the side and are see through on the sides. They are very much like sheer socks or TNT's. The shiney shoes are black patent leather mens formal tuxedo shoes. I'm wearing a classic black bowtie, silk suspenders, black cummerbund, wrap around cufflinks and a white formal french cuff dress shirt. The pants are from my formal Calvin Klein mens tuxedo. The formal dress socks are being held up by my classic vintage black pinstripe double grip mens sock garters.
